The Curse of the Yampa Valley
People say there’s a curse on this valley, that once it get’s a hold of you, you’re forever drawn to it.
People are struck by the authenticity of the 120-year-old community and the diverse opportunities to connect with the outdoors, but it’s the intangible things that resonate within these experiences that brings people back and makes them want to call this place home.
A focus on the recreation opportunities and scenic beauty was essential for this project but connecting the subtly of the experience was how I hoped to elevate it. Through serene and dreamlike images I aspired to create
a sense of place.
